Lecture description
As an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Regional Identity (BMLEH), the Federal Platform for Forest and Wood Research will be established by 2030. A key objective is to improve networking and cooperation between research activities in the field of forest and wood at federal and state level in Germany. To take account of the diverse range of interests, a dynamic approach is envisaged, inviting all stakeholders from the practical sector, society and politics to participate. This serves to facilitate targeted knowledge dissemination and identify research needs of increased practical relevance.
