AIDC Testing Challenges and NGI Full-Scenario Test Solutions

AI workloads are pushing data-center power architectures from low-voltage AC toward medium-voltage, solid-state-transformer-connected 800 V HVDC buses. Key challenges include megawatt-level power density, current and energy management, and microsecond-scale load transients. NGI presents a test platform covering 12 application areas, including SSTs, HVDC, AI-server power systems, BBU and supercapacitors. It supports dynamic loads up to 60 A/µs, high accuracy across three ranges and energy recovery that can reduce consumption by more than 90 %.
