Lecture description
The lecture series “FORWARD: Impulses from a progressive generation of architects,” curated by AIT-Dialog, explores the ideas, perspectives, and working methods of a new generation of international architects. In the search for practicable, long-term, and high-quality answers to the challenges of today, in particular the young generation of architects is embarking down new roads. They are developing their own approaches, formulating unconventional spatial concepts, and realizing exemplary architectural projects. Their work straddles creative solutions, academic teaching, and participatory planning processes. What questions do they focus on and what working methods derive from this? How does the new generation design and build architecture that is resource-conscious, climate-adapted, social, and forward-looking? The visionary projects show how architecture can respond to the complex changes.
