Dr. Kamal Varadarajan

Dr. Varadarajan is Senior Director of GaN Platform Strategy at Power Integrations in San Jose, California. Since joining the company in 2007, he has led GaN technology development for over a decade, driving innovation in GaN-based solutions. He brings more than 25 years of experience in power semiconductor technology and product development and has authored over 30 publications and patents. Dr. Varadarajan has been actively involved with the JEDEC JC-70 Committee since its inception, contributing to the development of industry standards for GaN device testing, datasheets, and qualification. He holds a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NITK Surathkal, India, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York.
