Antonio Fondevilla oversees the Automotive vertical at Maersk, setting and driving the company strategy for such industry, he leads the MAERSK Automotive team while defining latest value propositions. He is the sponsor for key pursuits and leads the relationship with Key Customers. Antonio has more than 25 years of Supply Chain Management and logistics experience. He has been leading different successful teams in several positions, from Operations to Business Development and from Automotive & Industrial (main Background) to Technology, Consumer and Pharma Supply Chains. Mr. Fondevilla has joined Maersk in April 2022 as Global Automotive Vertical Head. Prior to Maersk he served at Grupo Sesé as CCO. As the Chief Commercial Officer of the Group; Setting the company’s strategy, organizing the New Business development team, applying new selling approach and process control. From 2008 to 2019, Mr. Fondevilla was employed by Ceva Logistics, being his last assignment (2015-2019) EVP, Global Automotive Lead, reporting to the CCO Prior to CEVA, Antonio was the EMEA automotive Director in DHL supply Chain and before so, the Automotive Director for Exel in Spain. He is also a former Nissan employee, where he started his career. Antonio has a master’s degree in industrial engineering by UPC and a post grade in Business Administration by IESE as well as a Digital marketing post grade by ISDI.
