The Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) will introduce itself and explain current developments related to cybersecurity in Europe and Germany. Past cyber security incidents from the logistics sector are on the agenda, from which conclusions are drawn. The NIS-2 issue and their impact on the industry will also be addressed. The main part of the presentation will focus on assistance for companies, service providers, and authorities in dealing with cybersecurity risks. Two practical examples using ISMS (Information Security Management System) based on IT-Grundschutz will be analyzed and their risks assessed. The BSI will also present further assistance for the aforementioned stakeholders to improve information security.
