“Artificial intelligence on the last mile - opportunities and possible applications”
This one-hour discussion event will examine the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in the parcel industry on the last mile. In a short keynote speech (approx. 15 minutes), basic findings on the use of AI will be presented and concrete application possibilities for the last mile will be described. In the subsequent panel discussion, experts from business, technology and research will discuss how AI can help to optimize delivery processes on the last mile, improve efficiency, relieve the burden on delivery staff and increase customer satisfaction. The focus will be on innovative areas of application such as route planning, the automation of sorting processes and predictive maintenance. There will also be a discussion on how cooperation between man and machine can be positively shaped.
