Jordi Everts is a seasoned expert in power electronics, currently serving as Manager Technology at Neways
Technologies in Son, the Netherlands. He holds an M.Sc. (2017, magna cum laude) and a Ph.D. (2014) in
electrical engineering from KU Leuven, Belgium.
His career bridges academia and industry. As a Ph.D. researcher at KU Leuven and later as an Assistant
Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), he made significant contributions to advanced power
electronic systems, publishing over 35 peer-reviewed articles (h-index 20). His academic excellence has been
recognized with the SEMIKRON Young Professional Award and multiple best paper presentation awards.
In industry, he has led global R&D initiatives and held key development roles in power electronics across
diverse sectors including automotive, semiconductor manufacturing, and medical technology. He is the
inventor of 25 patents, reflecting his commitment to innovation and impact.
