In this presentation, I will discuss how TRUMPF’s solution package can facilitate an electrical connection between cables and busbars. The concept behind our solution is to directly laser weld wires onto the busbar, eliminating the need for crimped connections. The high-power laser, equipped with an optimized beam shaping profile, enables superior productivity and weld quality. Additionally, the hybrid approach that incorporates the AI model (EasyModel AI) and the vision system (VisionLine Detect) significantly enhances operational efficiency and precision. Besides the technical aspects, the economic implications of the laser welding process will also be discussed during this presentation.
