Functional pastes offer exceptional performance but their high viscosities and large particle sizes have historically limited them to analog manufacturing processes like screen printing. This talk presents a breakthrough with a novel high-viscosity jetting technology. In collaboration with ELANTAS, we successfully deposited a conductive silver ink, a material with micron-sized particles previously considered unjettable. We will detail how this technology manages complex fluid rheology, prevents clogging, and precisely controls drop formation. As well as share initial results, validating a new path to combine the performance of establizhed materials with the flexibility of digital manufacturing for industries such as aerospace, automotive, and more.
