STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® is the premier international series in competitive woodcutting and is considered the pinnacle of the sport. Since its founding in 1985 in the U.S. in partnership with ESPN—and in Europe since 2001—it has established itself worldwide: Today, competitions are held on four continents, featuring approximately 2,000 athletes from more than 20 countries. As the title sponsor, STIHL is now also supported by partners such as JEEP and MAXAM. In connection with INTERFORST, STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® underscores the trade show’s strong practical and experiential focus: The series combines forestry, competitive sports, and media-friendly show elements, bringing the topics of wood and forestry to life for a broad audience.
