At IAA MOBILITY 2025, the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) and its pan-African partner organization, the African Association of Automotive Manufacturers (AAAM), will host the IAA Africa Day 2025.
The goal of the event is to facilitate a professional exchange between representatives of the African and German automotive industries.
Participants will gain insights into current developments in individual African markets as well as initiatives aimed at diversifying value chains. The focus will be on the North African markets—Morocco, Tunisia, and Egypt—as well as topics related to raw material processing. The participation of a delegation of Moroccan suppliers also presents an opportunity to establish new business contacts.
The target audience includes representatives of OEMs, with a particular emphasis on representatives from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), such as suppliers.
We look forward to engaging discussions, new partnerships, and to hearing from, among others, VDA President Hildegard Müller; Martina Biene, President of AAAM and Managing Director of Volkswagen Group Africa; and Victoria Backhaus-Jerling, CEO of AAAM.
