Lecture description
Virtual twins, synthetic data and AI have the potential to transform vehicle development from an expensive, prototype-heavy exercise into a cloud-first process measured in months rather than years. Engineering teams can model cars in high-fidelity digital environments, run “road-tests-in-the-cloud” to satisfy emerging safety standards, and hand designers mixed-reality tools that let them iterate at the speed of software. Yet the promise of faster cycles and greener outcomes depends on robust governance, secure data-sharing and talent fluent in both code and compliance. Can a fully virtual workflow deliver safer, more sustainable cars while opening the innovation door to suppliers of every size?
