Intensive research is currently being conducted in the field of mobility – from innovative drive technologies to new mobility and sharing models to questions of future coexistence in urban and rural areas. Research is addressing not only technological developments but also societal challenges such as demographic change, increasing urban growth, and the achievement of climate targets. This session will examine the current state of research and explore how research can actively contribute to the mobility transition. It will also address the question of how mobility can be made more sustainable, digital, and livable in the future. In the form of exciting pitches, participants will gain insights into specific projects and current scientific findings from Munich and beyond.
