Digital Silk Road – The First China–European Automotive Data Ecosystem
The automotive industry is global, and so are its supply chains. With Catena-X, CAAM and VDA are launching the first joint China–Europe pilot under the trusted data space framework. After only five months, aprox. 25 Chinese companies have already joined to explore application scenarios in areas like quality, logistics, and sustainability. This initiative demonstrates how shared standards can accelerate digital collaboration across borders, strengthen supply chain resilience, and prepare the industry for future regulatory and business demands.
