To achieve Germany’s climate goals, rapid CO2 reduction in the transport sector is essential. A swift ramp-up of electromobility is one of the most effective levers in this regard. For greater acceptance and effective environmental protection, suitable models must be made available: affordable, efficient, and resource-saving BEVs! In addition to the private market, company fleets are a particular focus. Specific requirements come from fleets in outpatient care: With several hundred thousand vehicles, this market depends on low-cost yet comfortable cars and, as practical trials have shown, offers an ideal environment for BEVs. Together with industry, policymakers, and welfare organizations, we will discuss the urgently needed ramp-up of e-mobility from an environmental perspective.
