This talk will first give a retrospective of 30 years of progress with solar roof technologies for passenger vehicles and recap the pain points that have been hindering large scale adoption. We will then explain how the latest developments in PV, glass, and manufacturing technologies offer real value in terms of passenger comfort, sustainability, and reduced dependency on the grid infrastructure. Altogether, the objective of this talk is to provide a vision towards more sustainable mobility!
