Yannis Glaropoulos

Yannis Glaropoulos is a Product Director for Wi-Fi at Nordic Semiconductor, based in Sweden. He is active in the Wi-Fi Alliance IoT Market Segment Task Group. Previously he has held IoT protocol and software engineering positions at Nordic, the Walt Disney Research Labs and the Swedish Institute of Computer Science. Yannis has a PhD in wireless networking from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, Sweden, with a research track in various fields of wireless networking, including energy efficient cross-layer design for wireless sensor networks, network protocol optimization for the Internet of Things, and 802.11 traffic & channel activity characterization.
