Dr. Wolfgang Bochtler

Wolfgang Bochtler holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering from RWTH Aachen University. After working for the Freudenberg Group, he spent more than 20 years at the Japanese Mektec Group - a manufacturer of flexible printed circuit boards - where he was responsible for European business, customers in the telecommunications industry and, until 2020, also for the global automotive business. Today, Wolfgang Bochtler is a member of the advisory board of several companies in the fields of advertising (alu frames with light and acoustics), industry (electromechanical contact parts) and consulting. Together with 2 partners, he founded JPW Asia Consulting based in Singapore in 2023. Mr. Bochtler has been active in the ZVEI in the field of printed circuit boards and electronic systems as well as automotive electronics, where he was a member of the board for 10 years. He is honorary chairman of the ZVEI association “Printed Circuit Boards and Electronic Systems”.
