Rohan Samsi is a seasoned semiconductor industry leader with over 15 years of experience bringing innovative power and energy solutions to market. He currently serves as Vice President of GaN at Renesas, focusing on gallium nitride (GaN) technologies, where he drives product strategy and innovation for next‑generation power applications across data‑intensive and energy‑demanding markets. Rohan has held senior leadership and technical roles at GaN Systems, Infineon Technologies, Monolithic Power Systems, Primarion, and OSRAM Sylvania. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and is widely recognized for advancing GaN power semiconductors as a mainstream power solution.
