Dr. Jörg Schepers

Dr. Schepers is Vice President at Infineon’s Automotive Microcontroller Product Line “ Propulsion Systems and Electrification”. He studied computer science and received his Ph.D. thesis about parallel computer architectures in 1991. He started at Siemens Corporate Research before he joined the Chipcard group of Infineon (formerly Siemens Semiconductors) in 1998 being responsible for Product Security in this highly security sensitive market. From 2007 onwards, he held various positions as Program Manager for Infineon’s and later Intel’s LTE modem platforms before he joined Infineon’s Automotive group in 2015 as product line head for powertrain microcontrollers. He also acts as Chief Product Security Incident Officer for Automotive Microcontrollers.
