Biography
Amine is an automotive processors applications engineer at NXP Semiconductors since 2022. He received a B.S. degree in aerospace engineering from Universite Internationale de Rabat in 2016, an M.S. degree in aerospace engineering from Mississippi State University in 2018, and a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from Mississippi State University in 2024. His area of expertise is in advanced math-based control methods ranging from predictive optimal control to non-linear control with a focus on real-time and embedded automotive applications. He has contributed to the development of libraries for optimized deployment of single precision and double precision model predictive control algorithm on ARM based embedded devices and DSP/ML accelerators. His areas of interest deal with AI/ML based strategies for real-time control of automotive systems such as optimal energy management strategies, lateral stability control, and traction inverter control.
