Lecture description

This Keynote is presented by Denis Marcon, General Manager, Innoscience.

GaN power devices are the perfect answer towards increasingly higher efficiency needs. They have become the technology of choice for many new platforms in the energy conversion arena. In this talk, Dr Denis Marcon will explain how Innoscience’s discrete (InnoGaN™) or integrated (SolidGaN™) power devices can enhance the performance of AC-DC and DC-DC converters and maximize their efficiency, whilst reducing their size and simplifying their architectures in both consumer and industrial applications. The presentation will conclude by showing how it is now possible for Innoscience to provide price-competitive GaN power devices by leveraging economies of scale combined with 8-inch GaN-on-Si wafers (about twice the number of devices per wafer than 6-inch processes) and high yield.
