Presented by Christian Höfling, Field Application Engineer, Infineon
AI is the transformational technology of our time, making our daily lives easier in many ways. Whether on our daily commute to work as an Advanced Driver Assistance system in a car, as a digital customer service assistant or answering our prompts via ChatGPT, everybody is using AI — consciously or not. Yet we don’t talk enough about what it requires to power all these applications: behind the brilliance of AI lies a compute power and electricity-intensive process with a staggering CO2 footprint. In this session, we will cover the main building blocks of power conversion in a modern AI server, and show how Infineon’s solutions can contribute to drive forward digitalization and decarbonization with a complete offering spanning from grid to core.
