As the world moves toward greater electrification with the adoption of xEVs and stationery energy storage systems, the need to build a circular economy for batteries has become an economic, social, and environmental imperative. The industry is making significant progress on clean energy generation and highly efficient actuation systems. However, innovative solutions and scalable strategies for high-power batteries are necessary to significantly impact global emissions and meet climate goals, and it starts with the humble cell. By improving the monitoring, performance and safety at the cell level, the advantages cascade into all parts of the battery system and help create a circular and sustainable battery value chain.
