Lecture description

Presented by, Wayne Meyer, Marketing Director, Automotive Electrification and Sustainable Energy Group, Analog Devices

The successful proliferation of the EV is completely reliant on both its charging infrastructure and the electric grid supplying the power. The demand for fast charging en masse will put a considerable amount of disruptive loads on the grid at any given time. Additionally, the EV's role will be expanded to become a rolling ESS and become a grid energy supplier. Advanced technologies including Energy Management, Conversion, and Storage are required to make this a realization. We will discuss what is involved in this transformation.
