Lecture description
Optimal Electronics Design Through Thermal Simulation for Device Developers
| This presentation demonstrates how device developers can validate the thermal design of custom electronics housings early in the process using digital tools. The starting point is configuring the housing and connection technology in the online housing configurator. Next, the installation scenario, adjacent devices, ambient temperature, and up to three hot spots on the printed circuit board are defined. Based on the geometry and expected power dissipation, a customized thermal simulation is generated. The result is available as a 3D PDF within three business days and can be evaluated together with the Phoenix Contact team if needed. |
