Lecture description

This Keynote is presented by Henrik Flodell, Senior Director of Marketing, Alif Semiconductor.

A widely used definition of artificial Intelligence describes it as the “simulation of human intelligence in machines programmed to think, learn, and perform tasks typically requiring human cognition”.  Others claim more simply that AI is the practice of solving problems using statistical rather than deterministic data. On the surface, the definitions are widely divergent, but are they really so different? In fact, both descriptions are valid for many of the applications of artificial intelligence capability to embedded endpoint devices. The real question about endpoint AI now is, how is it affecting existing use cases, and which new use cases is it generating? And what is it going to take for the industry to implement AI broadly in embedded computing devices?
