Lecture description
As AI capabilities proliferate across connected products, industrial systems, and edge devices, the cybersecurity challenge is no longer limited to protecting software. AI-enabled systems depend on trusted firmware, authentic device identities, secure updates, and resilient operational lifecycles. A compromise anywhere in that chain can undermine system integrity and business continuity.
This session examines how hardware-based security architectures help establish and scale cyber resilience in modern IoT and embedded systems. Through real-world examples, we explore how hardware roots of trust, cryptographic authentication of device identity, secure boot, firmware attestation, and secure lifecycle management can reduce attack surfaces and provide a foundation for trustworthy operation.
