The DC connector with ArcZero technology is suitable for DC applications as it safely and reliably protects the operator against hazardous electric arcs. The special feature is integrated in the DC connector. An innovative piece of electronics, directly built into the connector, actively quenches the electric arc.
Another aspect in terms of sustainability is the use of mass-balanced plastics. They contain a proportion of renewable or recycled raw materials, certified through a mass balance method. This allows the use of existing production infrastructure while simultaneously improving the CO₂ footprint. In the case of the ArcZero connector, CO₂ emissions are reduced by more than proximately 50% compared to the conventionally manufactured product series.
