Automotive cyber security has already been an important issue of the industry. Radar plays an important role in ADAS domain sensors, whose cyber security will impact not only the security but also the safety of the vehicles. As shortcomings of the prevention from different attacks may lead to cracks of systems, radar security must be guaranteed at the system level, thus requiring the cooperation among SoC vendors, Tier-1s, and car OEMs. The SoC hardware provides the basic mechanisms, such as secret key management, debug interface protection, memory isolation, secure boot, etc.; SCA protection shall provide the basic protection at the SoC level and the security mechanisms at higher levels such as cryptography hardware acceleration for the system.
In this talk, the speaker will introduce the threats and risks that a radar system may have, the mitigations for the system, and the hardware support for the whole solution. At last, a typical solution for the system from the perspective of implementation will be introduced.
