Lecture description

Printed and hybrid electronics today are so advanced that almost any electronics design can be implemented onto flexible or elastic substrates using printing and low-temperature pick-and-place assembly. PrintoCent Pilot Factory offers a fast path from proof-of-concept to scalable continuous web manufacturing. At the Pilot Factory, we have developed a smart patch concept and manufacturing process for an ECG (Electrocardiogram) wireless patch. This patch is printed and directly assembled onto an elastic TPU substrate. In this presentation, the latest advancements in manufacturing are discussed, as well as the potential of new biodegradable materials.
