Lecture description

“Manufacturers are adopting flexible manufacturing processes to address a high degree of customization and maximize productivity. This implies a need for seamless, secure exchange of data across diverse factory networks, protocols & equipment to enable actionable insights. Smart buildings will require digitizing, secure connecting, and delivering maximized efficiency for a sustainable net-zero future. This talk will present solutions for securely acquiring and moving more data, some of which is deterministic and requires real-time control, implying the need for Ethernet and multiprotocol support. To accelerate this transition to future solution requirements there is a need for software configurable I/O technology, secure multiprotocol connectivity solutions, and embedded processing.”
