Lecture description

Identifying the component that is most likely to show ageing effects in terms of processability and function is essential for the assembly. The risk of obsolescence increases with complexity (number of components and technology). Accordingly, there are advantages and disadvantages of component storage compared to component storage. The presentation will discuss the corresponding differences and also highlight the risks of the respective storage strategy. In addition, solutions will be presented for storing and using assemblies in the long term.
