This presentation discusses the subject of cybersecurity in modern real-time control systems. As systems continue to increase in size and complexity, the landscape of security threats and potential attack surfaces has continued to increase. Around the world, new standards, laws and regulations are emerging, requiring OEMs to strengthen product security. To meet this challenge, a comprehensive and holistic approach is required. The new F29x family of high-performance real-time microcontrollers from Texas Instruments introduces several new innovations, providing task isolation and advanced run-time security without compromising on latency and maximum real-time control performance
