Lisa-Marie Schilling (1994) received her B.Sc. degree in 2017 and her M.Sc. degree in 2019 in Engineering Informatics from the Technische Universität Ilmenau, Germany. Her main areas of study included topics from telecommunications engineering, mobile communications and electromagnetic compatibility. Since July 2019, she has been a research assistant and doctoral student at the Technische Universität Ilmenau in the RF and microwave research group, with a focus on human RF exposure studies and characterising electromagnetic wave propagation. She is responsible for projects regarding the assessment of human RF exposure to different radio technologies as mobile radio (e.g. 5G, 6G) and radio-based car communication (V2X). Her conference contributions have been nominated several times nationally and internationally for best paper awards and have received the Young Scientist Award from U.R.S.I. Germany in 2020 and Student Poster Award (Second winner) from the Bioelectromagnetics Society and the European BioElectromagnetics Association at BioEM 2021.
