Florian Wieser

Florian Wieser studied electrical engineering at the Technical University of Munich. Since graduating in 1988, he has worked for the European semiconductor manufacturer STMicroelectronics, where he has held various positions in sales and marketing. He was responsible for product marketing of microcontrollers, for sales of secure ICs for chip cards and for sales and marketing of products to the consumer electronics sector. As a quality manager, he was responsible for customers and OEMs in the automotive market segment for many years. Since 2020, he has been working as Senior Manager for Commercial and Business Marketing in the automotive sector. Florian Wieser was involved for STMicroelectronics in various ZVEI committees and working groups of the automotive and semiconductor trade associations, where he e.g. contributed to the creation the fact sheet for Consumer Components in Safe Automotive Application (CCSAA).
