Dr. Matthias Traub has worked for Vector since 2023 and joined the Management Board in October 2024. With a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), he has shaped the evolution of vehicle electronics and software architecture for over two decades. His career includes engineering and leadership roles at Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volkswagen, and CARIAD, where he consistently advanced E/E and software platforms, automotive IoT, cybersecurity, and E/E architecture strategies. In his current role, Matthias Traub drives Vector’s transformation into a leading ecosystem provider for software-defined systems with a focus on scalable, modular platforms —empowering OEMs and suppliers to innovate with speed and precision.
