Geir Ostrem, ADI Fellow, is responsible for advanced technology development and technology strategy for the Automotive Business Unit at ADI. Prior to his current role, he spent more than 30 years in the semiconductor industry designing and managing designs of several market-leading high-speed, mixed signal ICs for automotive and communication systems. He was named a Maxim Fellow in 2015 for inventions in RF D/A-converters for DOCSIS cable head ends and broadband wireless transmitters.
He received his Dr. Ing. (Ph. D) degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway in 1996 on high-speed A/D-converters. Through his vast experience in the semiconductor industry, Geir offers a unique perspective on semiconductor technology evolution.
