Room data sheets are a cornerstone of design briefing, especially in complex construction projects. They describe what is needed and which requirements apply. For clients, they are a key instrument to steer and actively contribute to the design process. For design teams, they form a crucial starting point — provided the information is clear, complete, and actionable. In this presentation, Dr. Juriaan van Meel introduces a new approach: digital, model-based room data sheets — structured, integrated, and directly usable within the BIM process.
