Lecture description
Robotics, artificial intelligence, and networked systems offer new opportunities in the construction industry to make work processes more efficient and user-friendly. Professor Sigrid Brell-Cokcan will explain the resulting changes in requirements on our construction sites in her presentation. Architect Lothar Steinhoff will then present how 3D concrete printing has evolved from a promising technology to a real-world process. Using two projects as examples, he will share his architectural, planning, and practical construction experiences and demonstrate the potential of additive manufacturing in the construction industry.
