AI has entered the world of planning. It supports our processes, but the results are difficult to control with adequate accuracy or are prone to errors. How can AI reliably support us in handling routine tasks? Where is the line between algorithm and AI? The responsibility remains with the planners, whose expertise is crucial! Architect Matthias Pfeifer, board member of the Chamber of Architects of North Rhine-Westphalia, the BIM Alliance e.V., and chairman of the BIM Cluster NRW e.V., explains these topics from the perspective of these organizations. Following this, architect Falk Wagner (Formitas AG) demonstrates how the combination of AI and BIM data enables innovative solutions: Intelligent bots optimize processes, analyze data, and automate tasks for greater efficiency and precision.
