An Overview of EPMA Activities
The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) is a non-profit organisation that plays a central role in the development and promotion of Powder Metallurgy technologies in Europe. The association is built around three main objectives: to promote Powder Metallurgy technologies, to represent the European PM industry at both European and international levels, and to support the long-term development of the sector. These objectives are achieved through a wide range of activities including education and training, industry promotion, data collection, technical events, and research and development initiatives. Through its educational programmes, specialised seminars, international congresses, active involvement in ISO standardisation, and coordination of European and industry-funded projects, the EPMA fosters innovation, collaboration, and knowledge exchange among industrial and academic stakeholders. By bringing together companies, research centres, universities, and professionals, the association strengthens the competitiveness of the European Powder Metallurgy industry and plays a key role in shaping its future on a global scale.
