Lecture description
Ceramic matrix composites represent a new generation of materials capable of operating at temperatures above 1000 °C. They offer outstanding thermal shock resistance, reduced weight compared to monolithic ceramics, and superior corrosion resistance relative to metallic alternatives. Owing to these properties, their use is rapidly expanding across a wide range of industrial applications.
