Jonathon White

Jonathon White is the Vice President, within the Engine Business at Cummins Inc.  In this role, Jonathon is responsible for Engine Business Engineering activities across the product platforms life cycle.  This includes leadership for the EBU Platform Teams, Operational Engineering, Customer Service Engineering and Product Improvement, Technical Operations and Powertrain Engineering organizations. Jonathon began his career at Cummins in 1988 and now has more than 30 years of experience in the development and manufacturing of diesel as well as natural gas engine powertrain systems. Following his early career for Cummins in the UK, Jonathon spent 7 years in China leading product development and engineering for the East Asia Engine Business. Over the last 7 years Jonathon has held leadership positions within Cummins responsible for Global On and Off Highway Engineering delivering new products to meet more challenging customer powertrain requirements and the most recent stringent exhaust emissions standards. Jonathon holds a Bachelors in Systems Engineering from Leeds and a Masters in Engineering Project Management from Lancaster in the UK. Jonathon enjoys family time and music, playing the bass guitar.  He, his wife Amanda, children - Irima and Nathan reside in Columbus, Indiana (USA).
