Mit dem BIM in Deutschland (BIMiD)-Projekt wurden erste Praxisprojekte in Deutschland hinsichtlich der Anwendung von BIM untersucht und analysiert.Als Mitglied im Management Board des CIB (International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction) engagiert sich Herr Kirmayr zudem im Rahmen der internationalen Bauforschung. // With his research institute at Fraunhofer IBP, Thomas Kirmayr has been contributing to the implementation of the digitization process in Germany for many years. With the BIM in Germany (BIMiD) project, the first practical projects in Germany were examined and analyzed with regard to the application of BIM, and as a member of the Management Board of the CIB (International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction), Mr. Kirmayr is also involved in international construction research.
