Prof. Xaver Egger

Copyright: Helin Bereket // Prof. Xaver Egger hat nach einer Berufsausbildung zum Tischler in München Architektur studiert. 1996 gegründet, ist sein Büro Sehw heute eine eingetragene Marke mit derzeit etwa 60 Mitarbeitern an mehreren Standorten. Neben der originären Architektentätigkeit ist Sehw in den Bereichen Generalplanung, Projektentwicklung und in der markenstrategischen Beratung tätig. Schwerpunkte sind Gebäude öffentlicher Nutzung, meist als Ergebnis vorgeschalteter Architektenwettbewerbe, und Gebäude für die Immobilienwirtschaft sowie eigene Projektinitiierungen. Prof. Xaver Egger hat seit 2010 eine Professur an der Hochschule Bochum inne und lehrt seit 2017 an der German University of Technology in Muscat, Oman. Der von ihm geleitete Masterstudiengang hat sich zu einem Urban Lab entwickelt, in dem es um innovative Antworten auf die Fragestellungen unserer Zeit geht. Prof. Egger ist Mitglied im BDA, im NAX, im ZIA als Dachverband der Immobilienwirtschaft sowie im Stadtentwicklungs- und Gestaltungsbeirat der Stadt Bonn. // Prof. Xaver Egger studied architecture in Munich after training as a carpenter. Founded in 1996, his office Sehw is now a registered brand with currently around 60 employees at several locations. In addition to its original architectural activities, Sehw is active in the fields of general planning, project development and brand strategy consulting. The focus is on buildings for public use, usually as a result of architectural competitions, and buildings for the real estate industry as well as own project initiations. Prof. Xaver Egger has held a professorship at Bochum University of Applied Sciences since 2010 and has been teaching at the German University of Technology in Muscat, Oman, since 2017. The Master's program he heads has developed into an Urban Lab, which focuses on innovative answers to the issues of our time. Prof. Egger is a member of the BDA, the NAX, the ZIA as the umbrella organization of the real estate industry and the Urban Development and Design Advisory Board of the City of Bonn.
