Prof. Dr. Werner Lang

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Werner Lang ist Vizepräsident für Sustainable Transformation und Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für energieeffizientes und nachhaltiges Planen und Bauen (ENPB) an der Technischen Universität München (TUM). Von 2008 - 2010 war er Professor für nachhaltiges Bauen und Leiter des Zentrums für Nachhaltige Entwicklung an der University of Texas School of Architecture in Austin, Texas. Das Ziel des Lehrstuhls ENPB ist die Entwicklung von Strategien, Methoden, Technologien und Lösungsansätzen zum Bauen mit einem positiven Fußabdruck. Hierdurch soll es künftig möglich sein, Gebäude mit positiven Umweltwirkungen zu realisieren. Der grundlegende Einsatz regenerativer Energiesysteme und nachwachsender Baustoffe, sowie die Umsetzung geschlossener Materialkreisläufe sind hierbei wesentliche Bausteine. Lebenszyklusanalyse und Ökobilanzierung für die Bewertung entsprechender Maßnahmen bilden den Rahmen für die Entwicklung und Umsetzung entsprechender Gebäude und Quartiere. Neben seiner Arbeit als Forscher und Hochschullehrer ist Werner Lang Direktor des Oskar von Miller Forums. Zudem ist er Partner im Architekturbüro Lang Hugger Rampp GmbH Architekten In München. // Prof. Dr.-Ing.
