Prof. Dr. Guido Spars

Prof. Dr. Guido Spars ist Gründungsdirektor der Bundesstiftung Bauakademie. Als Immobilienökonom und Professor an der Bergischen Universität Wuppertal im Fachgebiet „Ökonomie des Planens und Bauens“ arbeitet er an der Schnittstelle von Stadtentwicklung, Bauökonomie und Architektur. Als Direktor der Bundesstiftung trägt er die Verantwortung für den fachlichen und administrativen Aufbau der Institution hin zu einem Katalysator für die dringend notwendigen Transformationsprozesse im Bauwesen. Professor Dr. Guido Spars is the Founding Director of the Federal Bauakademie Foundation. As a real estate economist and professor at the University of Wuppertal in the field of “Economics of Planning and Building”, he works at the interface of urban development, building economics and architecture. As Director of the Federal Bauakademie Foundation, he is responsible for the professional and administrative development of the institution into a catalyst for the urgently needed transformation processes in the construction industry.
