Gilbert Peiker

Gilbert Peiker studierte Bauingenieurwesen an der TU München und leitet seit 2018 das Referat “Infrastrukturplanung Straße – Straßen-informationssysteme” im Bayerischen Staatsministerium für Wohnen, Bau und Verkehr. In dieser Funktion ist er auch für die Einführung von BIM im Straßeninfrastrukturbau und für Planungs- und Genehmigungsprozesse in der Bayerischen Staatsbauverwaltung zuständig. Nach Tätigkeiten in Ingenieurbüros ist er seit 1995 in verschiedensten Führungspositionen in der Bayerischen Staatsbauverwaltung tätig. In diese Zeit fiel auch ein Auslandsauf-enthalt bei der Highways Agency in Bristol (GB). Ab 2012 war er als Abteilungsleiter Planung und Bau der Autobahndirektion Südbayern für rund 1400 km Autobahnen zuständig. In diese Zeit fiel auch die Verantwortung für drei PPP-Projekte in verschiedenen Phasen (Planungsphase und Vertragsanbahnung, Bauphase, Betriebsphase). Gilbert Peiker studied civil engineering at Technical University of Munich and is head of the "Road Infrastructure Planning - Road Information Systems" unit at the Bavarian State Ministry of Housing, Building and Transport since 2018. In this role, he is also responsible for the implementation of BIM and for planning and approval processes in road infrastructure in the Bavarian State Building Administration. After working in engineering offices, he has held various management positions in this Administration since 1995. During this time, he also spent time abroad at the Highways Agency in Bristol (UK). From 2012, he was responsible for around 1400 km of motorways as Head of Planning and Construction at the South Bavarian Motorway Directorate. During this time, he was also responsible for three PPP projects in various phases (planning phase and contract initiation, construction phase, operating phase).
